My Rhyming Verse

New Zealand

We're having a barbecue at the beach,
Please bring some L & P.
Its lots of fun out here in the sun,
With the surf, sand and sea.

Our country is famous for its green land,
Its beaches and its gumboots.
We have lots of cows and sheep,
And we grow Kiwifruit.

Land of the long white cloud,
Is the meaning of our name.
We've got huhu grubs and silver ferns,
And rugby is our game.

Taupo, Masterton, Greymouth and Levin,
Are the names of some of our towns.
Our country is very beautiful,
And you don't see many frowns.

New Zealand is a great place,
Is really quite amazing.
So come and see for yourself,
'Cause the beauty will have you gazing.

My Rhyming Verse

Nature

The wind moves the leaves softly,
Swaying from side to side.
Blowing them everywhere,
Finding places to hide.

Outside in the sunshine,
Having lots of fun.
The sky is a bright blue,
As for the clouds, there are none.

Children smiling happily,
They love the sunny days.
It means they get to go to the beach,
And they get to catch some rays.

As the sun goes away,
Its time to say goodnight.
As the people shut their eyes,
And they snuggle their teddys tight

Diamante Poems

Night Fall
Breezy, peaceful,
Chilling, darkening, frightening,
Whispers in the wind moaning softly,
Creeping, lurking, sleeping,
Spooky, eerie,
Twilight

Shoes
Colorful, strappy,
Shining, sparkling, shimmering,
Spending money buying expensive brands,
Shopping, liking, buying,
Creative, comfortable,
Scarpe

P.S: Scarpe means shoes in Italian

Haiku Poems

On Spring:
The sky os bright blue.
The grass is green and wavy.
Spring time in NZ!

On The Beach:
Massive waves crash down.
The sand stretches on for miles.
People everywhere.
